Step 2: The current vent elbow should be extracted from the rear of the dryer. Commencement should be made by unscrewing the fasteners that attach the elbow to the dryer’s back.
Step 3: The vent hose end that is linked to the elbow should be detached by loosening the clamps that secure the hose. The vent hose should be removed from the elbow.
Step 4: The new vent elbow should be positioned. Initiation should be made by sliding the new elbow onto the vent hose's end. A firm connection should be ensured by pressing the elbow onto the vent hose.
Step 5: The elbow should be affixed to the back of the dryer using the previously removed screws. Once the screws are tightened, the connection should be verified to ensure stability.
Step 6: The circuit breaker should be reactivated or the dryer should be reconnected to the electrical socket and the dryer should be run to confirm that the vent elbow replacement was executed successfully.
