Step 1: Essential tools are to be collected. For the replacement of the Speed Queen D516792 ASSY, IDLER LEVER BBS & WHEEL, a screwdriver and a ratchet set are required.

Step 2: The top panel is to be detached. The screws holding the top panel to the washer are to be taken out. The wiring is to be disconnected and the panel is to be lifted away.

Step 3: The belt assembly is to be extracted. With the ratchet set, the tension spring from the motor side pulley is to be taken off. Subsequently, the ratchet set is to be utilized to loosen the belt and it is to be removed from the pulley.

Step 4: The idler lever, bearing and wheel are to be installed. The new lever, bearing and wheel are to be carefully positioned into the machine, making sure that all components are securely in place.

Step 5: The belt assembly is to be reattached. The belt is to be positioned around the drum, motor and idler wheel, then the ratchet set is to be used to tighten the tension spring.

Step 6: The top panel is to be reattached. The wiring is to be reconnected and the panel holes are to be aligned with the washer. The screws are to be replaced to fasten the panel.

Step 7: The washer's operation is to be verified. The washer is to be activated and it is to be ensured that everything is functioning correctly.
