Step 1: Your dryer should be disconnected from the wall outlet to prevent electric shock.
Step 2: The lint filter should be lifted out of the lint filter housing to gain access to the drive motor.
Step 3: The screws fastening the access panel to the rear of the dryer should be taken out using a #1 Phillips screwdriver.
Step 4: The access panel should be gently slid away from the dryer and placed aside.
Step 5: The drive motor pulley located at the back of the dryer should be identified and the screws that secure it should be detached.
Step 6: The old pulley should be carefully extracted and disposed of.
Step 7: The new DC81-00220A Samsung dryer drive motor pulley should be positioned, ensuring proper alignment with the motor shaft.
Step 8: The pulley should be fastened using the screws removed in step 5.
Step 9: The access panel should be reattached and secured with screws.
Step 10: The lint filter should be reinserted into the lint filter housing.
Step 11: Your dryer should be reconnected to the wall outlet.
Your Samsung dryer is now prepared for operation with the newly replaced DC81-00220A drive motor pulley!
