Description

The General Electric WB24K10048 Range Encoder Assembly converts the user operator inputs into electrical signals, which the control system of the appliance can convert into a form that is understandable by the management system. It works to identify rotational or push commands of knobs or dials and translate them into electronic commands. The assembly operates by the use of mechanical encoder components which produce electrical pulses as the control is turned or pressed. It is installed in the control panel area of the range and connected to the wiring harness and control board.
