Description

The GE WR09X31029 Freezer Defrost Heater is a heating component designed to support the automatic defrost function in the systems by providing controlled heat around the evaporator area. It is installed near the evaporator coil & interfaces with the defrost control assembly, temperature sensors, electrical wiring harness and freezer compartment structure through dedicated mounting points and connectors. The heater activates during defrost cycles to remove accumulated frost from cooling surfaces and maintain proper airflow. It supports temperature regulation, efficient cooling operation & coordinated performance of the freezer system during regular refrigeration cycles.
