Step 2: The Freezer Alert/Alarm box should be found and gently detached from the freezer. Depending on the freezer’s model year, it might be affixed directly to the side or located on a shelf inside.

Step 3: The wires from the existing unit should be carefully disconnected by grasping each connector and pulling straight out with a gentle force. After all the wires are detached, the old unit should come out with ease.

Step 4: The new MA-1660A FREEZER ALERT/ALARM(SE) should be removed from its packaging and the wires should be connected in the same sequence as they were attached to the previous unit. Be aware that some freezer models might necessitate the installation of an additional jumper wire.

Step 5: The new Control/Alarm unit should be fastened to the freezer wall using the provided screws.
