Step 1: Your LG dryer should be disconnected from the electrical outlet prior to starting any repair tasks.

Step 2: The lint screen should be extracted from its compartment located at the front of the dryer.

Step 3: A flat-blade screwdriver should be employed to take out the two screws that hold the lint screen guide in place.

Step 4: The guide should be gently pulled from the front section of the dryer.

Step 5: The new guide should be positioned into the front of the dryer and fastened using the two screws removed in step 3.

Step 6: The lint screen should be reinserted into its compartment, ensuring it is fully seated.

Step 7: The dryer should be reconnected to the power source and it should be verified that the guide is securely installed.

Step 8: The lint screen and compartment should be regularly cleaned to avoid potential damage to the guide or accumulation of lint.
