Step 1: The dryer should be disconnected from the electrical outlet and the top panel should be taken off by loosening 2 Phillips-head screws situated at the rear of the dryer lid.

Step 2: After the dryer top is detached, the time knob will be visible.

Step 3: With a flat head screwdriver, the old knob should be gently taken off by leveraging it off the shaft. Note: The shaft should be ensured to remain undamaged while the old knob is being removed.

Step 4: The new replacement knob (W10756270) should be grabbed and affixed to the shaft.

Step 5: The knob should be fastened securely by tightening the screw using the Phillips-head screwdriver.

Step 6: The top of the dryer and screws should be reattached, and for safety, the dryer should be reconnected to the electrical outlet.

Step 7: The knob's functionality should be verified by setting a timer to ensure it operates correctly before the dryer is used.
