Step1: Turn off power at breaker and shut off gas supply to the range.
Step2: Pull out oven and remove rear access panel or lower bake shield.
Step3: Locate the existing igniter near the bake burner assembly.
Step4: Disconnect wiring harness carefully; avoid pulling on wires directly.
Step5: Unscrew mounting bracket and remove old igniter.
Step6: Install new igniter in same position and secure screws firmly.
Step7: Reconnect wiring ensuring tight, correct terminal alignment.
Step8: Reassemble panels, restore gas and power, then test bake ignition cycle.
