Step 2: Gather Tools: A small flathead screwdriver, a Phillips head screwdriver, needle nose pliers, and a voltage meter will be required.
Step 3: Detach the Burner and Receptacle Block: The burner should be disconnected from the receptacle block. Next, the flathead screwdriver and Phillips head screwdriver should be utilized to remove the two screws from the existing receptacle block. All wiring should be disconnected, and then the block should be carefully taken out.
Step 4: Position the New Receptacle Block: The adhesive backing from the new receptacle should be removed and it should be cautiously set in place. The block should be secured gently with the screws. All wires along with the grooved, curved, and straight spade connectors should be reattached. It should ensure that they are correctly connected to prevent any possible issues.
Step 5: Verify the Unit: Once the block is installed and fastened, the burner cord should be reconnected to the receptacle. The power should be restored and the unit should be checked for proper operation using a voltage meter.
