Step 1: The power source connected to the thermostat should be deactivated. It is crucial to be disconnected from the power supply prior to taking out the current thermostat for safety reasons.

Step 2: The current thermostat should be extracted. Depending on your configuration, the mounting screws from the wall should be taken out or the wiring from the rear of the thermostat should be detached.

Step 3: The mounting plate for the new thermostat should be positioned. If it is not already in place, the mounting plate should be affixed to the wall using the supplied screws.

Step 4: The wiring should be attached to the terminals located at the rear of the thermostat. The wiring diagram should be referred to in order to determine which wire corresponds to each terminal on the new thermostat.

Step 5: The thermostat should be fastened onto the mounting plate. It should be verified that the wires are neither pinched nor tugged while the thermostat is being secured to the plate.

Step 6: The power should be re-energized and a test should be conducted. The power should be reactivated and the thermostat should be checked to confirm its proper functionality.
