Description

The General Electric WH01X26241 Washing Machine Door Lock is installed in the unit to lock the door before and during the operation, so the washer does not start until the door is completely locked. It operates based on an electrically driven locking system that is provided with signals by the control system and mechanically interlocks a latch to keep the door closed in load conditions. The unit is attached to the front cabinet frame, where it fits the door strike. It ensures that the door is closed, eliminates unintentional opening and permits the normal cycle of washing.
