Whirlpool WPW10195037 Dishwasher Float Switch Lever
Description
The Whirlpool WPW10195037 is an insignificant but crucial component within your Whirlpool dishwasher, specifically functioning as the float switch lever. This lever is crucial in adjusting the water level, which is necessary for proper dish cleaning. As the water fills the dishwasher throughout the wash cycle, it finally reaches a point where it begins to lift the lever. When this buoyancy occurs, the lever activates a switch, which instructs the dishwasher to cease filling. This ensures that the dishwasher uses the correct amount of water for optimal cleaning performance while also preventing overflows that could damage your kitchen. Consider the float switch lever to be both a safety valve and a water conservationist functioning together.
