Whirlpool WPW10380298 Dishwasher Control Panel

The Whirlpool WPW10380298 Dishwasher Control Panel is the brains of your Whirlpool dishwasher. This electronic panel serves as a link between you and your appliance, allowing you to choose wash cycles, alter settings, and check the dishwasher's status.  When you push a button on the control panel, electronic signals are sent to the dishwasher's internal components, telling them to do certain tasks such as filling with water, spraying wash arms, or heating the water for sanitizing. The control panel, which is located on the front of the dishwasher, often includes buttons or a touchpad for cycle selection, indicator lights to show the cycle selected and remaining time, and, in more advanced versions, a digital display.
