Step 2: The refrigerator is moved away from the wall and the inlet fill valve located at the back is found. The refrigerator is unplugged.
Step 3: The water line is detached by either removing the screw clamp or pressing the disconnect clips.
Step 4: A flat blade screwdriver is employed to take out the screws that hold the water inlet fill valve to the refrigerator.
Step 5: The electrical wires connected to the valve are unplugged.
Step 6: The old valve is taken out and the new WR57X10033 GE Refrigerator Water Inlet Fill Valve is placed.
Step 7: The electrical wires and water line are reattached.
Step 8: The new valve is fastened using the screws.
Step 9: The refrigerator is plugged back in and the cold water supply is restored.
Step 10: The new valve is verified to confirm it is functioning correctly.
